How to Make Money on Pinterest Using AI and Affiliate Marketing

How to Make Money on Pinterest Using AI and Affiliate Marketing

What if you could build an online income stream without becoming an influencer, posting daily on social media, or showing your face on camera?

Because friend…

That is exactly why I became so excited about combining Pinterest, AI avatars, and affiliate marketing.

For years, making money online seemed to require one of two things:

  • Becoming a content creator
  • Constantly showing up online

And honestly? Neither option appealed to me.

I didn’t want to spend my life filming content, chasing trends, or sharing every detail of my life online.

But then I discovered something that completely changed how I think about online business:

Pinterest doesn’t care if you’re famous.

And AI avatars make it possible to build a brand without being the face of it.

When you combine those two things with affiliate marketing, you create a system that has the potential to generate income long after you’ve created the content.

Let’s talk about how it works.

This post may contain affiliate links, but it won’t cost you anything extra. I only recommend products I genuinely use, love, or believe can help you.

Why Pinterest Is One of the Best Platforms for Affiliate Marketing

Most people still think Pinterest is just recipes, weddings, and home decor.

They couldn’t be more wrong.

Pinterest is actually a search engine.

People go there looking for solutions.

They’re searching for things like:

  • how to make money online
  • passive income ideas
  • affiliate marketing for beginners
  • work from home jobs
  • side hustles for women
  • digital products to sell
  • Pinterest marketing strategies

Unlike Instagram or TikTok, people aren’t scrolling mindlessly.

They’re actively looking for answers.

That’s what makes Pinterest so powerful.

When someone searches for a problem and your content appears as the solution, you’re reaching them at exactly the right moment.

And unlike most social platforms, your content can continue generating traffic for months or even years.

The Problem Most People Run Into

Here’s where many beginners get stuck.

They discover affiliate marketing.

They discover Pinterest.

They get excited.

Then they realize:

“I don’t want to become an influencer.”

They don’t want to:

  • film videos every day
  • show their face constantly
  • build a personal brand
  • live online

And because of that, many people never start.

That’s where AI avatars completely change the game.

What Is an AI Avatar?

An AI avatar is a digital version of a creator that can represent your brand online.

Instead of relying on your personal image, you can create a consistent visual identity that helps you:

  • create content faster
  • build a recognizable brand
  • stay faceless
  • maintain privacy
  • scale content creation

For people who want to build a faceless business, AI avatars are one of the most exciting opportunities available right now.

And no, you don’t need to be tech-savvy.

You don’t need expensive equipment.

And you definitely don’t need a huge audience.

Here are some examples of images I created with AI. They showcase the products that I get an affiliate commission from when someone purchases (and they only took a 2-3 clicks to create, soo easy!).

How Pinterest + AI Avatars + Affiliate Marketing Work Together

This is where things get really exciting.

Let’s simplify the entire system.

Step 1

Choose a niche.

Examples:

  • Pinterest marketing
  • passive income
  • productivity
  • online business
  • work from home
  • digital products

Step 2

Create an AI avatar that represents your brand.

This becomes the face of your content.

Step 3

Join affiliate programs that align with your niche.

Examples:

  • digital products
  • software tools
  • productivity resources
  • online business programs

I recommend applying for Benable (you will get approved right away) or ShopMy (you do need around 500-1000 followers on a social media account to be approved.)

Step 4

Create Pinterest content around problems people are already searching for.

Examples:

  • How to make money online
  • Pinterest affiliate marketing
  • Faceless business ideas
  • Passive income for beginners

Step 5

People click your pins.

Step 6

They discover the products you’re recommending.

Step 7

You earn affiliate commissions.

Pinterest brings the traffic.

Your AI avatar builds trust and brand recognition.

Affiliate marketing creates the income.

That’s why these three work so well together.

Why AI Avatars Are Such a Huge Opportunity Right Now

Most people are still approaching online business the old way.

They’re trying to become influencers.

They’re trying to grow huge social media followings.

They’re relying on constant content creation.

Meanwhile, AI avatars are creating an entirely new category of online business.

A category where you can:

  • stay faceless
  • create content faster
  • build a brand
  • promote products
  • create multiple income streams

without making your personal life the product.

And honestly?

I think we’re still incredibly early.

The Biggest Mistakes Beginners Make

Waiting Until Everything Is Perfect

Pinterest rewards consistency, not perfection.

Choosing Random Niches

Focus on one audience and one problem.

Ignoring Search Intent

Pinterest success comes from understanding what people are already searching for.

Quitting Too Soon

Many pins take weeks or months to gain traction.

Most people stop long before the system has a chance to work.

The Resource That Helped Me Understand This Entire Strategy

When I first started exploring Pinterest, AI avatars, and affiliate marketing, I quickly realized something:

Most people teach these topics separately.

One course teaches Pinterest.

Another teaches affiliate marketing.

Another teaches AI.

But very few people show how all three fit together into one complete system.

That’s why I was so excited when I found PinLab.AI.

PinLab doesn’t just teach Pinterest.

It doesn’t just teach affiliate marketing.

And it doesn’t just teach AI.

It shows you how to combine all three into a faceless business model designed for real people.

Inside, you’ll learn:

  • how to create your AI avatar
  • how to build a faceless brand
  • how to use Pinterest for traffic
  • how affiliate marketing fits into the system
  • how to create content without constantly showing up online

For me, one of the most valuable parts was learning how an AI avatar can become the face of your Pinterest business while still keeping your personal life private.

That was the piece that made everything click.

Instead of wondering how to become an influencer, I started focusing on how to build a system.

And that’s a very different mindset.

Your Simple Pinterest + AI Avatar Action Plan

If you’re brand new, here’s where I’d start:

✓ Choose one niche

✓ Create your AI avatar

✓ Join one affiliate program

✓ Create 10 Pinterest pins

✓ Focus on solving one problem for one audience

✓ Stay consistent for the next 90 days

That’s it.

No daily posting.

No becoming an influencer.

No massive audience required.

Just a simple system built around:

Pinterest traffic

  • AI-powered content creation
  • affiliate marketing

= a potential income stream that grows over time.

And honestly?

I think we’re entering one of the most exciting periods ever for building a faceless online business.

The tools are better.

The opportunities are bigger.

And for the first time, you can build a real online brand without making yourself the product.

That’s powerful.

And if you’ve been waiting for a sign to start?

This is it.

AMSTERDAM 🌷🇳🇱 What an experience! It was so beauti AMSTERDAM 🌷🇳🇱
What an experience! It was so beautiful and interesting. Filled with so much history, breathtaking architecture and weeds and nudity…

What a combination.

My family roots are 100% Dutch. It’s my grandparents home from both sides. It’s special to me and I loved being there. But the spiritual darkness that is there is real.

Who else has been and what was your experience?

8 years ago I moved abroad to the US from Australi 8 years ago I moved abroad to the US from Australia.
And 2 months ago my husband, dog and I moved to Germany. 🇩🇪

So what’s next for us? ✨

-I am learning German, it’s hard so feel free to encourage me lol

-I won’t be able to work for a while so I’m LIVING IT UP (mostly with pastries)

-Aldrin has some interviews coming up for work (he is German so he can start working straight away)

-We are living with friends, in their built out attic and it has been the best way to start in a foreign country - instant community, pizza nights, bbq’s etc..

-We are loving being a part of a smaller Church, feels already like family

-In a few months we will start looking for our own place, which will make it feel real that this Country is home

-Attainable travel in Europe is a dream come true and I’ll be sharing it all!

-We feel so privileged and blessed to be living in our 3rd Country together 🇦🇺🇺🇸🇩🇪

-Big life transitions are hard (miss family and friends everyday) but thankfulness has been the key for us

-Lastly, Aldrins cousin made us a cake to welcome us here to Germany from Australia and then the US🥹 what is my life?!

THINGS I WISH I’D KNOWN BEFORE IMMIGRATING TO THE THINGS I WISH I’D KNOWN BEFORE IMMIGRATING TO THE USA 🇺🇸 FROM AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺
⬇️
-Marrying a permanent resident is NOT the same as marrying a US Citizen. It took me 2 years to be allowed back into the US. Marrying a citizen is much faster, knowing that in advance would have been helpful lol 😑

-Every state in the US is almost like a different Country, they have their own culture and laws, unlike Australia where they are much more similar

-Public transport is so different in the US (unless you live in a major City.) So many people I know there have never been on a train before 🤯

-Not having free medical insurance is just like in the movies, it’s hard to plan financially and save, I’ll forever be grateful for Australia’s medical system

-The work/life balance is probably my least favourite things about living in the US. US employees are actually not always legally entitled to paid holidays, but on average employees do provide on average around 5-10 paid vacation days a year.

-Thanksgiving is the best! We love it and want to incorporate it into our traditions 🦃

-Writing dates backwards I am used to now, but it took forever! My birthday is 28/7 but in the US it is 7/28…

-Americans are sO good at championing each other and celebrating peoples success, it’s such a beautiful part of their culture! 🙌🏼

-Squirels look just like they do in the cartoons 🐿️

-Lastly, don’t ask for a side of ‘chips’ with your burger, you will be disappointed 😆
