Alright… let’s set the scene for a second 🤍✨ You wake up… not to chaos, not to stress, not to your phone blowing up — but to a morning that actually feels good, calm, peaceful, cozy… but also deeply rooted in Jesus. This is the Christian girly morning routine!
One of my favourite things is, we can love style, routines, cute little rituals… and love God deeply. It’s not either/or. You don’t have to choose between being that girl and being a woman of faith.
You get to be both.
So let’s build a Christian girly morning routine that feels peaceful, productive, and… like a life you’re excited to wake up to.

☀️ The Christian Girl Morning Routine (That Actually Feels Like You)
Not rigid. Not overwhelming. Not 10,000 steps.
Just intentional, aligned, and a little bit dreamy. Because, if it’s something you dread – you won’t be able to stick to it.
✨ Step 1: No Phone. Just You + God First.
I know… this one can be hard, especially if you need to break this habit.
But imagine this:
Before the world gets access to you… God does.
In the mornings, we are actually at our most vulnerable, and it’s so easy to be negatively influenced. If we can start our day rooted in the word of God and His presence the whole day will start off positive and builds a GREAT foundation for your day.
Instead of scrolling, take a second to just be.
A simple prayer like:
“God, thank You for today. Lead me, ground me, and help me walk in peace.”
That alone? Changes everything. The Christian girly morning routine puts Jesus first!
TIP: Charge your phone overnight in another room. People do not need to have access to you 24/7. I also recommend buying an actual alarm clock, so you don’t have to rely on your phone.
📖 Step 2: Your Quiet Time… But Make It Aesthetic
Let’s stop making quiet time feel like a chore.
This is your *moment* and it should be one of your favorite parts of the day.
Set it up in a way that feels like something you actually want to do:
- Your Bible (annotated, highlighted, lived in)
- A devotional that speaks to you
- Prayer cards when your brain feels blank
- A journal for your thoughts, prayers, and little God moments
And yes… light the candle. (Always light the candle!)
Because suddenly it’s not just “reading your Bible”…
It’s a whole experience.
TIP: Don’t rely on motivation for your quiet time. Create a disciplined routine that you commit to doing everyday. Make it cute and intentional.
🕯️ Step 3: Create a Vibe You Want to Come Back To
This is where the atmosphere changes.
Put on:
- Soft worship music or a Christian podcast
- Your headphones so you stay in your own little world
- A cozy blanket, your favorite corner, your drink of choice
This is how you go from forcing a routine…
to romanticizing your life with God in it.
TIP: You don’t have to do this during your Quiet time. This is when you need a reset moment in your day, you feel overwhelmed, or just need to realign again. However, if you have time in your morning, go for it!
📓 Step 4: Journal + Reset Your Mindset

Okay this part? Underrated.
Remember how I said that we are the most vulnerable in the mornings? This is actually a really intentional time to write down your thoughts and check in with how you’re really doing. The benefits of morning journaling are:
It clears mental clutter, and lowers anxiety.. Since you have had no distractions yet, you are able to effectively “brain dump” before anything in your day influences you. Write anything and everything that comes to mind for about 10 minutes, and then don’t read it back, otherwise you will analyze it and feed it back into your mind. The goal is to release the clutter and creating space in your mind for more important and intentional things.
Now you can be more effective when you write things like:
- What you’re grateful for
- What’s been on your heart
- What you’re praying for right now
Then gently shift into intention:
- 3 things you want to focus on today
- A reminder from Scripture
- A glance at your vision board (what are you building right now?)
This is where faith meets direction.
TIP: Have 2 separate journals, one for the long hand brain dump, and one for the intentional questions. You can read back the brain dump journal around 2 months later and see if there is anything interesting or significant that stood out, but if not you don’t need to think too much into what you wrote.
🧘♀️ Step 5: Move Your Body
We’re not doing punishment workouts at 6am, okay?
But movement? It changes your whole mood.
Roll out your yoga mat. Stretch. Pilates. Go for a walk.
Even 15-20 minutes.
Think:
Clear mind. Better energy. Soft reset.
You’re taking care of your body — the one God gave you. The Temple of the Holy Spirit – don’t take that lightly. This is super important for the christian girly morning routine that impacts your entire body, soul and spirit.
TIP: I have a list of my favourite things that help keep me motivated and enjoying moving my body in the mornings. You can check them out here.
🥤 Step 6: Your “That Girl” Breakfast Moment
This doesn’t have to be complicated… just intentional.
Make something that feels good:
- A smoothie in your blender
- Coffee + something nourishing
- A little breakfast you actually sit down to enjoy (this is important!)
No rushing. No chaos. No drive through.
Just a moment to fuel your body before the day begins.
TIP: Try habit stacking during breakfast. Keep it intentional. Try not to scroll on your phone, but do something like read a book, review your schedule for the day, listen to a youtube video or podcast to learn something new.
🎧 Step 7: Pour Something Good Into Your Mind
Before you fully step into your day…
Choose what fills your mind.
- A faith-based podcast while you get ready
- A few pages from a book that inspires you
- Scripture you carry with you
Because what you listen to in the morning?
It stays with you.
TIP: Actually keep it with you. I have a stack of blank cards, and whatever stood out to me from my quiet time, I write on that card and put it in my pocket or in my handbag and I meditate on it during the day. Whether it’s a bible verse or quote, it helps keep me grounded and focused.

🤍 The Real Goal of This Routine
It’s not about being perfect.
It’s about becoming a woman who:
- Starts her day grounded instead of rushed
- Knows how to come back to God daily
- Moves with peace and purpose
- Lives a life that feels aligned, not chaotic
And yes… you can do that while being stylish, creative, fun, and fully yourself.
✨ Final Thoughts (From Me to You)
You don’t need to overhaul your entire life overnight.
Start small:
Light the candle.
Open your Bible.
Write one page.
Take one deep breath.
That’s it.
Because those small, intentional mornings?
They build a life that feels completely different.
If you’ve been craving more peace, more clarity, and a deeper connection with God… this is your sign.
Not to be perfect.
But to start creating mornings that feel like you + God + a life you actually love 🤍
I have a blog post where I explain Faith-filled meditation and breathing techniques. It’s nothing woo woo and it’s all grounded in the word of God. You can read it here.
